"I selected Gavin as I had a photo that I wanted recreating as a painting. The scene contained a lot of detail and I was encouraged by the paintings on his website which showed his skill with intricate work.
Once I'd made contact, Gavin made the process really easy and asked lots of questions about what I wanted, and gave me lots of guidance on the process. He kept me up to date all the way through the paining process; regularly sending me photos of how the piece was progressing.
I was really pleased with the final outcome - a truly unique piece which captures the atmosphere and drama of the original photo. It now hangs proudly on a wall in Munich."

Steve, (Munich)

"At Christmas I received a gift of a painting my Dad commissioned be done by you of my Mum. It was an unexpected gift, and quite an emotional one.
I have to commend you for the time and effort you took in consulting with my Dad (he told me you met multiple times to review and discuss the work).
I think the finished work captured remarkably well the essence that a photograph could not and appreciate the thought and time invested in such a personal and memorable gift that will be treasured.
Thank you."

"I commissioned this artist to paint a large landscape picture last year. He took his time, providing me with regular digital picture updates via e-mail. He paid amazing attention to detail and only had my description and a few poorly taken digital photographs to go by. The picture looks great - stretching 1 and 1/2 metres in width."

"We have purchased three of Gavin Mundy's Space Art and Sci Fi Art paintings to date. We really like his work and feel he captures the imagination of planetary space exploration very well. We particularly like the combination of planets and imagined engineering spacecraft designs with astronauts exploring the surface. His work is excellent. We were also pleased with how helpful and efficient his service was."

"I met Gavin in 2002 as we trekked through the Atlas mountains on our way to the summit of Mount Toubkhal. After our return my wife met Gavin and saw his painting 'Towards Aguelzim' - a view we passed on our ascent. It was a surprise to learn she had bought the painting for me as a Christmas gift and it now proudly hangs on my office wall, always bringing a smile to my face. Thanks, Gavin."
